Pad Printing
Product Introduction
Pad Printing is a production method that transfers a 2D image onto 3D objects.
Using the pad print method provides the users with lots of advantages, it allows 2D images to be printed onto oddly shaped, complex surfaces, and even irregular geometries.
Our customer’s biggest concern is that the image detail won't be able to transfer onto the complex surface of the product; however, with the help of our silicone printing pad, we have been able to transfer all the images onto the product with full detail. Additionally, the silicone printing pad is capable of adjusting irregular shapes and objects without absorbing extra ink during printing.
This method has enabled pyramids to accomplish diverse productions with excellent quality through a variety of pad printing applications.
Our pad printing environments can be tailored to meet your specific requirements. Our company is capable of performing the printing process either in a cleanroom environment or in a standard environment.
In addition to printing services, Pyramids also provides fixture building, since some of the products have complex features that will affect the graphic quality and printability. In order to ensure the final quality meets our customer's expectations as well as meets our quality promises, our team will design fixtures based on the complex features of the product.
Process:
To begin the printing process, it is important for our team to begin by adjusting the machine to the right position. After the machine is properly adjusted, the printing pad and printing plate will be placed on the machine.
The ink formulation process will begin once all the equipment is set up correctly. The formulation will be performed according to customer instructions if they are available, otherwise, it will be performed according to golden samples if they are not. We will conduct several trials before we begin the printing process.
In addition, our team will modify the force of the silicone printing pad in order to prevent the machine from over-pressuring the silicon pad, which would cause damage to the product.
